Array is composed of thousands of household sponges. The installation explores the production of a vibrant, immersive sensory environment through the accumulation and reconfiguration of a familiar domestic material. By shifting the sponge from its utilitarian context, the work invites renewed attention to texture, color, and scale, prompting viewers to reconsider how conventional materials are encountered and understood.
