Across the Rise sits above the entryway of Bridge Projects Gallery in Los Angeles, extending up and over the roofline. A reflective surface lays over a rolling plane of yellow wire fencing, creating a dynamic visual presence. The work heralds viewers as they move in and out of the gallery, reframing the threshold and offering a renewed perspective of the space. By activating the building’s exterior, the installation invites conceptual curiosity, encouraging viewers to consider what lies just beyond, just over the bend.
