The Widening Hold is a site-specific installation exploring the idea of containment and movement through space. The work invites viewers to traverse an abstract terrain of both created and found materials. It gestures towards guidance, suggesting the experience of being carried through an environment that is at once structured and fluid. The work reflects on the poetics of spatial negotiation, the intractable and how we inhabit uncertainty.
