Lucent Shifts

repurposed reflective sheeting
Terminal 7, Los Angeles International Airport, CA
Enclosed in a glass case Lucent Shifts ascends ambiguously, emphasizing an intuitive encounter. It presents a progression of movement that interrupts the flow of ordinary space. The installation aims to shift the context of the busy airport environment, offering a moment of reflection and the idea of thaumazein—a Greek philosophical term that describes wonder as the beginning of knowledge.
